We manufacture two families of products. Our Steel Division covers refractory consumables for steel plants — nozzle filling compounds, ladle and tundish covering compounds, exothermic anti-piping compounds, sealing pastes, packing compounds and mould sealing rope. Our Foundry Division covers alcohol and water based coatings, lost foam and die coatings, core joining and repairing pastes, parting agents and cleaning agents.
Our semi-automatic manufacturing plant is at Gat No. 523, Magarwasti, Kesnand Road, Lonikand, Pune – 412216, Maharashtra. We regularly serve customers in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Kolhapur and Gujarat, and we supply elsewhere in India on request.
Alcohol based coatings dry by ignition in a few minutes, which suits fast core cycles and cores that cannot be oven dried. Water based coatings avoid solvent handling and are usually preferred on established dipping lines with drying capacity. The right choice also depends on your binder system, core complexity and pouring temperature — tell us your practice and we will recommend a grade.
Most of our coatings carry a shelf life of six months from the date of manufacture. Products should be stored in a cool, dry place, and lids of partly used carboys should be replaced tightly. Core joining pastes have shorter shelf lives — FORESTICK-S is four months and FORESTICK-HH is 60 days — and the exact figure is printed on every product page and label.
Remix the carboy contents thoroughly before transferring into the dip tank. Monitor the viscosity at periodic intervals, especially after every two hours. Use a slow speed mixer to avoid air entrapment during continuous application. To avoid the formation of bacteria, clean the dip tank weekly.
Yes. We prefer it. We supply a trial quantity together with application guidance and, where practical, on-site support during the trial, so that the result you see is a fair reflection of what the product does in your practice.
Yes. We have a fully equipped in-house laboratory that checks all raw materials and finished products specifically for the important properties — viscosity, solid content, specific gravity, oxide analysis, sieve distribution and, for pastes, tensile strength.
